AFSA K-12 Conference Sign Up Information
K-8 Conference Sign up:
AFSA K-8 conferences are Student-led. Please bring students to conferences so they can share the presentations they have prepared for you.
Please sign up with your child's homeroom/ advisor FIRST. Then select times with other teachers that you'd like to meet with. Please only choose teachers that your child currently has classes with. Special education teachers, school counselor, and specialists are all available. If your child works with Title I teachers, please also set up a conference with Ms. Croft for reading or Ms. Bald for math. If your child has an IEP, please set up a conference with their case manager.
- Grades K-2: Homeroom teachers will have the most robust information. Please choose them first.
- Grades 3-4: Mr. Melling and Ms. Veldhuizen are hosting joint conferences. Both teachers will be present to provide comprehensive feedback. Select them first, then add Ms. Stumpner for Ag or others as needed.
- Grades 5-6: Ms. Heider and Ms. Sarah are hosting joint conferences. Both teachers will be present to provide comprehensive feedback. Select them first, then add Mr. Smith for Theater or others as needed.
- Grades 7-8: Select your child's Advisor first, then include other teachers as needed. Students taking Geometry at the HS can schedule through the HS link with Rasha Tan.

AFSA High School (grades 9-12) Conference Sign up:
When signing up for high school conferences with classroom teachers, you can also sign up to meet with your students’ advisory teacher or case manager. It is beneficial to check your students' progress in the Powerschool gradebook and meet with teachers to identify areas of growth in classes where they are missing assignments.
If you would like to discuss your student's overall graduation progress or if you have scheduling questions, Mark Prokopowicz (Mr. P), our academic counselor, will be available as well.

School Choice Week
AFSA K-8 is hosting a Winter Carnival
The AFSA K-8 is hosting a Winter Carnival on January 28th and an online Silent Auction which will be live for approximately 1 week prior to the carnival.
We are currently seeking donations for our silent auction. If you, or someone you know, is willing to donate something for the silent auction, please fill out the google form and one of our Winter Carnival Committee members will get back to you! Donations could range from a few dollars to help us put together a great gift basket, donations from businesses that you own or have an inside connection with, a donated weekend at your family cabin, or even a great gift basket that you want to sponsor yourself!
Once we have all of our donations compiled, we will send out the link for the online Silent Auction so that you can see what awesome things we have and start bidding on something great for yourself! The best part is that you can share the link with friends and family across the world and they too can bid on some great items to support AFSA K-8. Funds will be used to help cover the expense of field trips and exploratory learning, which is a huge part of what makes AFSA such an amazing place to learn and grow.
Thank you so much for your time, attention and dedication to making AFSA great!
