Lions Lunch Suspension
I recognize when Lions Lunch is cancelled, it impacts teachers a great deal as well when it comes to tutorials and practice. Below is an alternative that would allow for tutorials during the day by going to two lunches when the 72 minute lunch is cancelled
A Lunch 11:33-12:30
B Lunch 12:36-1:36
Lunch Breakdown
A Lunch: Upstairs, half or upstairs B, and E Halls
B Lunch: Downstairs, F Hall, half of upstairs B, Hall and G halls
In the event we suspend Lions Lunch or need to modify lunch, we can split it into two lunches in an effort to offer student tutorials.
While students are in A Lunch, B Lunch students will report to their 4th period class from 11:34-12:35.
A Lunch students will be dismissed to go to class at 12:30
B Lunch students will be released from 4th period to the cafe at 12:35
4th period for A Lunch begin at 12:35.
Teacher lunch: 11:34-12:05 (A) and 12:35-1:06(B)
Tutorials can officially start at 12:05 for A Lunch and at 1:06 for B Lunch
This option does not allow ALL students to see you like it does as lions lunch for tutorials, rehearsal, practice or club meetings. The above scenario is a proposal for you to consider. I encourage you to discuss this option with your pod mates and departments. I also encourage you to think of additional alternatives or proposals that will allow students to attend tutorials during the school day. We can discuss more at the faculty meeting scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 10.
