My career that I chose was being someone who worked in the healthcare business. There were many different jobs that I could choose from, but I chose to be a Surgeon. I chose Surgeon because the job has many kinds of advantages. Though a Surgeon may also have disadvantages, if you do the job correctly, the hard work will pay off and many advantages will happen.
Surgery is a very important job. If we didn't have surgeons, a lot of people would be hurt forever, or would die.
What is a Surgeon?
My career as a Surgeon would have one main goal... to save lives. That is basically what a Surgeon was employed to do. Surgeons are actually medical people who practice surgery, and preform surgery to not only heal someone, but also save someone's life. They also not only save the life, but they also get paid very good money for all of their hard work, dedication, and time that they put into each and every single one of their patients. Surgery is a very important job. If we didn't have surgeons, a lot of people would be hurt forever, or sadly die.
Salary and Benefits
One of the most popular reasons why people love to be Surgeons is because of the great payment that they earn. The surgeon not only saves the lives of the people, but they also get great payment for all of their hard work that they did. The smallest amount that a surgeon makes is actually around 207,117 a month. That may not seem like a small amount to you, but if you earned that as a surgeon, you either messed up really bad, or your not in the right surgeon place. The normal or average amount that a surgeon makes every month is around 395,737 dollars. Most surgeons make that amount or just a little more than that. The highest that a small percent of surgeons has made in a month is around 510,000. The only way that a surgeon could make this amount of money in one month is if they constantly were saving lives on people who are on the verge of death. Which that pays a lot when you do that. That is one of the main benefits of being a surgeon.

Being a surgeon means that you have to have a lot of good training and school to do the job correctly. First, you have to go to at least 4 years of undergraduate school. Then after that you have to go to 4 years of medical school. Also, depending on your specialty, you will have to go 3 to 8 years of internship and residency programs.
