Updates from Thorpe Creek Elementary March 2023
TCE Scholarship
Did you know?
Thorpe Creek Elementary offers two scholarships each spring to students graduating from Hamilton Southeastern High School and/or Fishers High School. The primary requirement? The student must have attended Thorpe Creek Elementary and must submit an application hosted by Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation. Applications are due March 9th and are awarded in May during the high school's award night. https://www.hsefoundation.org/students-parents/scholarship-application/
The TCE Scholarship is funded by donations and small fundraisers. Our most recent donations/fundraisers have included the 2022 Jammin' June Jogs donations, our College GO! Week coin collection, and TCE water bottle stickers sales. Mrs. Pugel has also scheduled a Dine to Donate to support this fund on Tuesday, March 21 at Houlihan's at Hamilton Town Center from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
We remain invested in our students long after they have left our campus! #OnceACardinalAlwaysACardinal
Sincerely,
Mrs. Curran, principal

Please share with your neighbors, as well!
SAVE THE DATE:
Next year's kindergarten students and their families are invited to the annual Kindergarten Open House at Thorpe Creek Elementary on Wednesday, April 12th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Come explore the school, meet some teachers, and meet the principals! This is an open house format - no formal presentation occurs on this evening. This evening will be one of several opportunities for our youngest learners to get to know their new school before we begin the 2023-2024 school year in August.
4th Grade Transitions to Intermediate School
Additional details about the visit to HIJH will be shared after spring break.
Parents do not need to register their child for intermediate school. Students remain enrolled and automatically transition to their home intermediate school at the conclusion of fourth grade.
