Save the Date: BMIT Standards Writers Needed June 10-25, 2021

Big picture

Secondary and postsecondary teachers are needed to write programs of study standards based on the results of the Stakeholder Engagement and Futuring Panel meetings for Business, Marketing, and Information Technology career field areas.

The writing process will be done completely online. We will be using synchronous and asynchronous tools that will help streamline the process. Each Program of Study will have a small group of teachers working on the standards, based on an application that will be sent out later in March.

Writers will be paid a stipend for time spent writing standards. We are expecting that the writing process will take around 16 hours of your time to complete over the two week period.
