Welcome to KAES!
We have now completed the first week of our 2021-2022 school year. I know this week we have had a lot of emotions. The excitement of starting at a new school or returning and seeing friends you haven't seen all summer, but It can also be tough to let your sweet boy or girl go to school and leave her for the first time. It can be challenging to figure out that new routine of getting up earlier to make breakfast or lunch or how to balance the schedule of sports, music lessons, Adventurers and Pathfinders with school taking such a big part of the day. If any of this relates to you this week, then I want you to know that it will be alright and in fact, it can and will be great. How do I know this? God tells us that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7) and thinks of good for us (Jeremiah 29:11) and will hold us with His right hand (Isaiah 41:10) and strengthen us (Philippians 4:13).
I am so excited that you are part of our KAES family. We have planned for an exciting fun year where we will learn a lot and grow in our love for Jesus. This year the middle school will begin using their new Chromebooks and the elementary classrooms will use Ipads newly handed down from middle school. We are close to finishing the remodel in the office and we expect to finish our gymnasium project this year. In order to stay connected this year, I will email you this newsletter each Friday. I will include things that have just happened and information about what is happening in the few weeks ahead. For planning further ahead I recommend spending time on our school website, especially the "parents" tab. If you can not find answers to your questions, never hesitate to call the school office and speak with me or Mimi Samaniego, the school office administrator. We are here to serve you.
Welcome to the family.
Drop off and Pick up Routines
Help us keep our kids safe. Please only drop off and pick up your child when parked in a parking space. When kids walk behind cars it creates a potential danger if the driver does not see them.
Who knew watching mulch being delivered could be so much fun. Can't wait to see it spread over our playground.
