Young Authors Event - March 25
Young Authors Event, March 25, 3:30 – 5pm
The Upper Skagit Library will partner with the Concrete School District and their Young Authors Program by hosting a Young Authors reading event at the library. The public is invited to celebrate the hard work and creativity of our local Young Authors and the books they have created during this special youth literacy program. The library will accept the student’s books into the collection. We thank TEI Landmark Audio and Marianne Glick and Mike Woods Charitable Fund for sponsoring this event.
USLF Member's Meeting - March 19

Upper Skagit Library Foundation (USLF) Annual Member’s Meeting will be held on Sunday March 19, 1 – 3pm at the Concrete Theatre. Special guest, poet and performer Judith Adams, will present, “A Fierce Language: Falling in Love with Poetry,” a reflection on how poetry can radically enhance, change, and even save our lives. The Foundation is proud to announce their new President, Laurie Thomas, a former Library Board Trustee member. The meeting will include announcements, a brief business meeting, Foundation members may renew their dues, and there will be an opportunity for the public to join the Upper Skagit Library Foundation.

Essential Oils and Your Pets, Sat. March 18, 3:30pm
Guest Speaker, Terry Parker
Join us on Saturday March 18, 3:30pm for Essential Oils and Your Pets with Terry Parker. Terry will share how therapeutic grade essential oils can benefit your four legged friends. She will cover safety and application methods, oils that are not recommended for our pets, what oils to use for aggression, depression, and injuries. Win a cool essential oils prize during the FREE RAFFLE. Free and open to everyone.
