Missing Clothing?

Impact Aid Form

Isle of Wight County Schools is currently participating in the federal government's Impact Aid Program. Impact Aid is a federal grant program designed to help pay for the education of federally connected children. The amount of funding is based on the number of IWCS students whose parents are connected with the federal government. To determine if our school system is eligible for funding, each school will need to conduct a survey. The information from these surveys will be used to support our request for Impact Aid funds. The forms were sent home with each student's report card. A copy of the form is also included in this newsletter/ or attached to this e-mail. All information that you provide on the Impact Aid Program Survey Form will be treated confidentially.

Please return the signed form to school by December 2, 2019.

Thank you for your assistance with ensuring we have proper documentation for our Impact Aid application. * Click on this link to access the form.

Flu Shots

Last year the division was able to work with a partner to provide flu shots for all students who had parent approval. Unfortunately, IWCS will not be able to provide that service this year. Parents are encouraged to make arrangements through their child's doctor, or other provider of flu shots, to ensure your child is vaccinated for the current flu season.

Parent/Guardian Information Update

It is critically important that your telephone numbers and email addresses are up to date in our Blackboard Connect System and in Powerschool. In the event of an emergency, the Blackboard Connect System will be used to contact parents/guardians. Please review your contacts in Blackboard and Powerschool to ensure that we have the most current and up to day parent contact information. Please click the links below to update your information. For assistance or questions, please call the main office at 757-357-8844. You may stop by our school office and a staff member can assist you with updating your information. Please be sure to provide a valid ID if you choose this option.
