Tonya Middling - Principal
Vanessa Batts-Assistant Principal
Dear Wildcat Families,
We hope you had a restful mid-winter break and that you enjoyed some quality time with your loved ones. Each student is so special and unique and we've really enjoyed getting to know them even more as the year has progressed. Particularly our Kindergartners! As spring approaches, now is a great time to check your volunteer status so that you are ready to go when the call comes to engage in all of the fun and inviting events planned. This includes field trips, evening events, end of year celebrations, etc. It's also a great opportunity for you to volunteer in classrooms. Teachers can always use the extra set of helping hands and eyes to read with, encourage and support students during learning time.
This Friday night, we are hosting a Bingo Fundraiser to support our 4th graders attending Pioneer Park! With bus driver shortages, the costs for transporting students on field trips has nearly tripled! We are having to reserve private bus charters. We don't want to let these costs interfere with these experiences because they are extremely important for broadening student knowledge outside of the classroom.
On Thursday at 5:30, we are inviting parents of 5th grade students to join us for an informational night in preparing for 5th grade camp!! Don't miss it! We'll be meeting in the library.
Please see below for other important information coming up! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions at tmiddling@fpschools.org.
It's great to be a Wildcat!
Mrs. Middling, Principal

Reminders from the Office
Office 253-298-3200 | Attendance/Leave Early 253-298-3206
Please read these important reminders from the office!
- 9:35 School Bell rings. If your student arrives AFTER the bell, please park and bring them in to SIGN with a late reason. Documentation for tardy is entered into the system, and knowing the reason to excuse or unexcused helps attendance.
- If you need to come into the building, please press the intercom button on your right as you look at the front door. Please have ID ready to show every time.
- Please notify the office of any end of the day changes. We need this information before 3:30 so we have time to get a note to the teacher.
- Call the office if your child will be absent. If they have an appointment, please ask the doctor, dentist, counselor, etc. for a note for school.
- If you need to take your child out of school early, please make sure to come to the office at least 30 minutes before dismissal time, dismissals after 3:30 will be unexcused absences and might require more time getting your child during end of day.
- If your phone number, email address, or home address changes, please let us know so we have the most up-to-date contact information for you.
