Construction on the Gates Chili Professional Learning Center nearly complete π οΈ
The new Gates Chili Professional Learning Center (GCPLC) is nearing completion. This space at the high school is what many used to know as the band room and the final piece to our $68 million dollar capital project. This space will be a place for our faculty, staff and administration to continue to work, learn and grow. In addition, our Board of Education meetings will move to that space when itβs complete.
Welcome to our new board member! π
The Gates Chili Board of Education welcomes Katie Davis as its newest member! Davis was selected to complete the term of Andrea Hinchey Unson, who stepped down from the board in December.
Davis has been a member of the Gates Chili community for a total of 30 years. In the 11 years since her oldest daughter started kindergarten in the district, Davis has been passionate about staying engaged in the district. Her involvement includes serving on the District Improvement Team and the Paul Road School and Family Association (PRSFA). She also participated in the districtβs superintendent search and was a member of the planning committee that assisted with the hybrid return to school.
