Conversation with the Superintendent THIS MONDAY!
Dear Monomoy parents, caregivers, and community members,
As I have done in past years, I am inviting members of our school community to join me for a conversation about “all things Monomoy,” Monday, November 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Harwich Elementary School Activity Room. Members of the School Committee will also be in attendance to listen to your wants, hopes, and appreciations of our schools. We encourage parents and caregivers of students from across the district, as well as interested community members, to attend. This is the first in a series of open forums that will take place during this school year.
Often, these open-ended conversations bring out the most people and best discussions. I want to make sure all questions are answered and all topics are discussed, so I’ve created an online forum for you to share what you’d like to talk about. I’ll create an agenda from your input and post it on Monday morning before the event. Hopefully, the topics you provide will pique the interest and attendance of others and make for a robust conversation.
The online form for you to share the topics you’re interested in discussing is available at this link. You don’t have to submit a topic to attend and all discussion topic requests are anonymous.
The School Committee and I look forward to your participation. See you Monday night at HES.
Scott Carpenter
Superintendent
