Wildcat Weekly

Happy Thanksgiving!
We talked about engagement which there were many examples given about kids being engaged. We talked about thinking, kids were being asked to think and were not afraid try new things. What we talked about most though was the feeling they got from being in the building. The group was not able to put their finger on one thing in particular, but it had a lot to do with the comfortable environment they were able to experience.
This made me smile and it took me back to the activity that we did earlier this year around how we want all Wildcats to feel. Though our first nine weeks have challenged us both individually and at times as teams, the time you all have put into developing relationships with kids has created a great school culture we should all be proud of being a part.
As the administrative team was having difficulty putting feelings into words, we were able to boil it down to one thing. When asked, Would you want your own kid to attend our school? All agreed that they would without hesitation want their kids here at LaCreole! That says a lot!
Enjoy your time off this coming week! I am thankful for you all!
