The Lackamas Lightning Strike

Home of the Lightning... Learn Lead Succeed

Welcome to Summer 2021

Message from the Principal

I want to express how proud we are of how you've been handling this last year remote, hybrid, and now back in person or for some of you still remote. It's been a hard year to be a student and to be a family. I'm so proud of our community and how YOU are showing up to support each other and education. I know there are many silent battles you've fought the moments you had to humble yourself, the times you've wiped your child's tears, your own tears. As we close out this year I want to CELEBRATE YOU!!!! THANK YOU

We are excited to see you for a new chapter and the 1st day of school on September 8th. We are looking forward to being able to support your child's learning journey and have so much fun planned for next year.

We have so much to celebrate because of your support and collaboration with us to keep accelerating student learning. Thank you for being an amazing community that celebrates the good in the world and education. Your willingness to lean in this year is why we have so much to celebrate. Enjoy a restful summer and please reach out if there is anything we can do to be supportive.

Warmest Regards,

Shauna Perez, Principal
