Community Learning Center Grant

District 15 is excited to share our intent to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant made available through ISBE for the 20-21 school year. Funds secured from this grant would allow us to design and implement a 21st century after school community learning center to benefit all students at Winston Campus Junior High.

A high priority of our preliminary planning is to establish collaborative partnerships with various community organizations. If you have an interest in partnering with us in this pursuit, please feel free to reach out to Renee Urbanski, Executive Director of Multilingual Programs at This communication is not a guarantee that an award will be received but rather serves solely as notification of our intent to apply.

Summer Meals

District 15 will continue to deliver free meals to students Monday-Thursday through July 31. Any child age 18 or under is eligible for free meals, regardless of financial status. To learn more about the weekly menus and delivery drop-off locations, please visit our website.
