PRIZE SPONSORS: Thank you to all our generous prize sponsors.
Each year the golf committee chooses an organization as beneficiary for a portion of the event proceeds. It was our honor this year to award $1,000 to the Safe Haven Foster Shoppe. This organization works directly with foster care programs to meet the immediate needs of children entering the foster system. They are run completely on donations and provide children with their own, new, hand-selected items intended to ease the stressful transition for the children. With a storefront in downtown Lindstrom, this organization helps children right in our community and they are always looking for donations and volunteers. More information can be found at www.safehavenfostershoppe.org.
A Special thank you to Bachman's Photography for team photos and to Craig Stockel for helping out all day. We’d also like to thank the Chamber of Commerce Golf Committee. This group of people put in hours of time to ensure the success of the event. Thank you to Liza Francois (American Family – Melanie Berneck Agent), Laura Haseltine (Elevate Builders & Victory Lane Quick Oil Change), Jeff Bouchee (Lake State Carpet Cleaning), and Tom Kieffer (Farmers Insurance).
We would also like to thank Sarah, Cory, & Chris at the Chisago Lakes Golf Course for collaborating with us to create a wonderful tournament.

'Intro to Home Perfumery Workshop' - Saturday, September 12th 1:00pm-4:00pm
$50/participant
This workshop will introduce the basic process of home perfume–making with a special emphasis on intuitive, conceptual techniques. Participants will examine (smell) the individual ingredients of a scent–in–progress and be able to take samples of the final product home at the workshop’s conclusion. We will also discuss “tinctures” and consider some possibilities for how they are made. We will sample a series of one–off tincture experiments made by the artists before and during their time working at Franconia, some of which will be made using raw materials found on site. The workshop will discuss basic materials and supplies needed to get started and best–practices for casually working on your own to create custom scents. If time allows, the class will collect materials from the park to make their own tinctures.
