The island of Bali attracts top surfers from Australia and Hawaii plus beginners from across the globe. The peak surf season in Bali is from April-October, but it is still popular year round. Bali lacks dangerous rocks and coral so the surf there is great for beginners.

Nicknamed J-Bay, this popular destination has surfers coming here year round. The bay is divided into sections: Kitchen Windows, Magna Tubes, Boneyards, and Supertubes. Supertubes is known to offer rides up to 300 meters long.

The peak surfing months are from November to February. Banzai Pipeline, named in 1961 is one of the heaviest waves in the world- it average wave is 9 feet but can get a lot bigger. This is one of the largest surf spots in the world. Pipeline is located on the island that created surfing.
