BTES March Newsletter
2019-2020 School Year
BTES Newsletter for March 2020
February was a fun-filled and busy month. We had our sixth grade students take part in an amazing Homeroom wars and Cake decorating contest. Our students had so much fun and it was an amazing day/week of events! Thank you to our 6th grade teachers for organizing such great events.
Grade 5 celebrated their 1,000th day of school at the end of February! Yes I said 1,000! What a milestone. We had a 5th grade class make signs for each homeroom to help share in the special day!
Our school safeties did an awesome presentation at Week in Review promoting the importance of saying Good Morning and Hello! They started a campaign with Kindness Cards and urged the students and staff to make one, pass it on, and keep it going.
Kindness Cash was a huge success again! Students and staff wrote anonymous compliments on BTES Kindness Cash and shared them all over the building for the ENTIRE month of February! Thank you to our students and staff for taking part in this amazing tradition at BTES. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Kakos for organizing this event!
Have a wonderful month of March. Go Bulldogs!
