Superintendent of Schools Search
The Lockport City School District Board of Education is pleased to announce that it is commencing a search for the next Superintendent of Schools. The Board of Education accepted the resignation, for the purpose of retirement, from Mrs. Michelle Bradley at the May 2022 meeting. At our Board of Education meeting held on August 10, 2022, the Board approved Dr. Clark Godshall, Orleans/Niagara BOCES District Superintendent, as the search consultant who will conduct the search process in collaboration with the Board of Education.
Community Survey
The Board of Education is committed to seeking input from our various stakeholder groups as we move forward with the search. In order to gather as much input from all groups, there are two Thought Exchange survey links below. The first link seeks to gather input about the specific characteristics and qualities that are sought in the next superintendent of schools. The second link seeks to gather input regarding the strengths and challenges the district is facing or will face in the next 3-5 years. The survey links will be available until Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Survey 1
What qualities and/or characteristics are essential for the next superintendent to possess?
Survey 2
What are the most important strengths and challenges of Lockport that our new superintendent should be made aware of to be successful?
