McTeacher’s Night at McDonald’s

Kendall PTA is thrilled to offer our second Restaurant Night at McDonald’s (Rt. 59 and 95th St.) from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 10th! HERE’S THE BEST PART….. teachers and staff from Kendall will be volunteering their time to work the registers, serve food, clean tables, take orders at the drive-thru, and even sell pies (dressed as a pie)! You WON’T want to miss this fun event and fundraiser for our school! McDonald’s will donate 20% of participating sales to the Kendall PTA! Don’t forget to bring cash for tips and to purchase pies! See the attached flier and schedule for more information and to find out when you can see Kendall staff members at work!

School Attendance

Dear Families,

School attendance is essential to academic success. Did you know that absenteeism in the first month of school can predict attendance throughout the school year? Research shows that half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school by the end of the year. ( Remember any lost class time, whether excused or unexcused results in missed learning opportunities. Help your children develop positive habits for attendance from an early age!

IPEF Support

Thank you to everyone for supporting our Kendall IPEF Runners with donations and participation in our spirit week. We raised over $1700 and the kids had a great time!

District 204 YELLOW Out! Day

Friday, October 11th - Please help us celebrate ALL of our Team IPEF members by wearing your "Yellow" for the District-Wide Yellow Out Day!

We are encouraging not only our Kids Marathon participants, but hoping that everyone will find a way to add Yellow to their wardrobe to show support for Team IPEF!
