Summer Updates
There is still time to register for The Class of 2018 College Bound Quick Start! During this one-day workshop, students will work with myself, college admission representatives, and Ben Davis Faculty to develop their application strategy and begin their applications. Some of the tasks students will complete during the one-day workshop include the following.
- Completion of the application target list - including reach, match & safety options
- Prepare and receive feedback on application essays
- Obtain guidance on the financial aid & scholarship process
- Talk to college admission representatives from 12 public and private institutions

Yale Information Session at Ben Davis!
Corinne Smith, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, will discuss academic programs, residential colleges and campus life, admissions, and financial aid. All are welcome to attend. Please bring family, friends, and your questions about Yale.
Please note: guests should enter through Door One. The information session will be held in the Auditorium.

And new this year is 21st Century Scholars Day on July 19! This is a day specially designed to help students complete their Scholar Success Program.

This interactive college readiness conference includes workshop sessions for students and parents on How to Study Effectively, College Testing Preparation, Applying for College, Financial Aid and Paying for College, NCAA and MUCH MORE! Indy Westside College Fair! SAVE THE DATE!
The Indy Westside College Fair will be held on September 20 in the MPA. Last year over 120 colleges, universities, trade schools, and military representatives were in attendance. You don't want to miss this event!

The Bridges Program is an overnight visit experience for high-achieving high school seniors from historically underrepresented populations or who have a commitment to promoting a deeper understanding of and appreciation for diversity. Students representing different racial/ethnic, sexual orientation and gender identity, and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Students who complete the Bridges Program, apply, are accepted, and enroll on the Oxford campus for Fall 2018 will be eligible to receive the Bridges Program scholarship. Last year, Bridges Program participants received scholarships ranging from $2,500 to full tuition annually.
