WebEx All Staff Meeting on Monday, March 23rd!
Let's jump into the digital world of teaching and learning together! We will have a 40-minute staff meeting using WebEx at 10 AM on Monday, March 23, 2020. All staff is expected to attend. We will do a roll call at 10:05 AM by alpha order of last name.
Please secure a quiet place (not driving, no noise in background, free from background distractions) to join our conference call and place your device on mute as soon as you join. We will review digital etiquette together.
We are using WebEx for ALL staff meetings. Download CISCO WebEx on your phone or computer to join.

Zoom Team Meetings
We will Zoom for team meetings.
Specialists and administrators will send you Zoom links to join meetings this week so you get used to the software and expectations for digital learning.
Classroom Teachers: Make sure your Schoology Classroom is set up this Week!
Make sure you can see your students in Schoology this week.
We will go live with instruction delivery on Monday, March 30th.
The expectation for your course will be modeled for you this week in Schoology.

We are expected to work remotely Monday-Friday.
Please log in through the Alief HUB daily to check and respond to email. Other tasks will include:
- Participating in Zoom conferences with administrators, team leaders, and content specialists
- Completing assignments in our Schoology Course
- Participating in Schoology Course discussion posts/activities
- Posting videos for students and families to access
- Communicating with families using classroom contact system
- Other duties as assigned...

Open Google and go to Aliefisd.net
Find AliefHUB! Log-In on the Right Hand side of the Screen and click on it
Enter your username and password that you use on your work computer
Click on the Remote Access Icon
Click on Terminal Server Desktop Icon
Click OK
Your Desktop should appear! You are in and able to work from home!

Class Dojo is an effective way to communicate with students and parents.
Remind is one way to communicate safely with students and parents.
Classroom Teachers Must Establish a Mass Communication System for Parents and Families in your Class
All students need contact this week. If phone numbers don’t work, try email. If no email, see if students have contact info for their classmates so we can make sure everyone is ok.
If you have another way to communicate with students and families, please share it with Mrs. Sanchez. Phone call alone is not sufficient.
Grab and Go...
- Notify Mrs. Sanchez by Tuesday, March 24th (832-943-3978)
- Once approved, prepare to come to the building and practice social distancing to grab what you need and exit the building immediately. Times will be staggered. No one without preapproval will be allowed in the building.
- Make a list of the specific items you will need so your visit to the building will be quick and efficient.
