Looking to Flip Your Class?
The "Flipped Classroom" is typically described as when a teacher takes advantage of video recording tools and/or videos to share the lecture with students prior to classroom time. This model of instruction allows teachers more time to work with students during face-to-face time in class. Some modify this instruction by using the prerecorded lesson at the beginning of class to modify for those that don't have access outside of class. One of the major advantages of recording your lesson is to cut out those items that aren't so important and get to the "meat" of the lesson.
Here are some good Web 2.0 tools for those that use PCs/Macs.
My Flipped Notebook- I've started a notebook on the flipped classroom if you would like to know more about it. I'll be adding more and more resources in the coming weeks.
