New Updates:

Picture Retake/Make-Up Day 10/29

Wilson Hill Picture Retake/Make-Up Day is Friday, October 29th

  • HR imaging will take all students that were absent on the first day's photography event as well as anyone requesting a retake picture.
  • If students would like a retake of their original day picture, they can bring back that original package, give it to the photographer and we will take another picture and order the same package for them using that new image.

Kindness Counts Social Media Challenge

As some of you may know, there have been recent social media and TikTok challenges that encourage students to make poor choices while at school. For example, across the country students are being challenged to deface school property or show disrespect to school staff.

Wilson Hill is an amazing place to be, and while we have thankfully not seen a direct impact of these challenges, we have created a way to use social media as a positive outlet for demonstrating kindness.

We are hoping that parents, teachers, and community members will catch our students performing the following acts of kindness each month and post them to either our school facebook page, or send to our twitter feed @WilsonHillElem.

Thank you for your continuing efforts to build an incredible community at Wilson Hill, where our students will change the world.

Fall Harvest Parties/Parade

Wilson Hill has set the date of Friday, October 29 to celebrate our Fall Harvest Parties in the classrooms. We will plan to hold our costume parade (weather permitting) on the back playground at 1:35 pm. Immediately following will be classroom parties (1:45 pm). We are limiting classroom volunteers - 2 parent helpers per classroom (please sign-in at the kiosk in the office). Due to Covid restrictions there is no food allowed during classroom parties this year.

In the event of inclement weather, students will conduct the costume parade inside the building around the halls. Due to Covid restrictions, parents are not permitted inside the building for the parade if we have inclement weather on October 29 (fingers crossed for good weather).

A few reminders in regards to student costumes...

  • Students should bring costumes to school with them. All students will change into their costumes around 1:20 pm. Please do not wear costumes to school.
  • Costumes should not be graphic or depict violence
  • No weapons as part of costumes
  • Faces should not be completed covered
  • Student need to be able to get costume on primarily by themselves
