Friday folders......
Midterms are next week. Please be sure to check the parent portal so there are no surprises about mid-term grades.
Many students are still struggling with their multiplication facts. Remember only the highest computation scores will count at the end of the 9 weeks so there is still time to improve. Our next math unit is on multi-digit multiplication so the students must know these math facts fluently.

Mypaymentplus: Please remember to pay school fees such as StoryWorks, Wordly Wise, Agenda, Newspaper, and Field Trips. We are receiving expense reports each week that shows who has paid their fees. We will be sending home individual reminders soon to our friends who still need to pay. Let us know if their is a family hardship or situation as to why the fees can not be paid. Thanks!
This week in Language Arts...
Language Arts - Thank you for ordering books! I'll get the order submitted later tomorrow. It takes about 7-10 days for them to arrive. GRADES - I've loaded the portal with some grades. Important note: In Reading I will drop the lowest reading comprehension grade at the END of the quarter. Please keep this in mind when you view your child's grades. I have many more grades to collect this quarter. All Rockstars need to check work very carefully to avoid all careless mistakes. We have too many not completing homework - please check their agenda. All homework and test dates should be written inside it each day. Again, I need you to help your child follow the directions for filling out the Genre Bingo Card. As I check cards periodically I find titles not underlined or misspelled. Some are missing information such as number of chapters (or pages) and date finished (VERY important). Points will be lost if not filled out correctly. Thank you for your help with this!
