Ms. Lee's Classroom News
February 5, 2016
Our Valentine Party is Thursday, February 11. You are more than welcome to send Valentine cards, but please do not feel obligated. I will send a class list home just in case!
Don't forget to be practicing your lines at home for our performances on February 18th.
Thank you so much for those of you who took time out of your busy schedules to come to conferences last night. Your kids and I really appreciate it!!
*IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO MAKE IT LAST NIGHT, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME ON MONDAY BETWEEN 3:30-6:30. WE STRIVE FOR 100% PARTICIPATION!
Last Call...Extended Deadline
The PTO is collecting auction items for the Chili Supper on Feb. 18. The 2nd Grade has been assigned the theme: Petite Picasso/Let's Get Crafty. If you can help out, please send your items to school on or before Feb. 10. Any item for any basket is appreciated. Thanks!
As you have noticed, we started cursive this week! It has been very exciting, but I need your help at home. Please make sure your child is practicing with the homework sheets I send home. I will make them do it at recess the next day if they are not complete.
URGENT PTO HELP NEEDED
North School Parent Teacher Organization needs new leadership. Please consider volunteering to help lead the organization during the 2016-17 school year. The PTO is a vital part of the children's education, providing additional supplies and materials for teachers, play and programs for the students, and support for extracurricular activities. Without leadership in the PTO, the parent-teacher organization could cease to exist. If you would consider the role of President or Vice President, talk to Jennie Wells by Thursday, February 11. Jennie Wells can be reached by calling (573)230-4051 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You are also welcome to call Barb Martin, principal, at 896-8304 or by email at email@example.com for more information. Thank you for your support of the North School PTO.
