Family Newsletter
3/27/22
Thank you so much to everyone for their help with the art show and book fair. So many families showed up to help set up, tear down, and work the event. We are so fortunate to have such great faculty to create and organize these events. The students were so excited to share their art work and class work during parent-teacher conferences.
I hope you all enjoyed the week off with your family. I can't wait to hear all about what everyone did while we were away. My husband and I had a great week away with friends. We truly unplugged and recharged our batteries. We are ready to finish the school year strong and fourth quarter is always a busy time of year, so please be sure that you are keeping up with your teachers' newsletters for updates.
Please reach out at any time to share any questions, concerns, or ideas. I am here to help and support you and your family. Thanks for all you do to help keep our students and staff safe.

Thank you to PTO for your support of the fair!
- We had an amazing crew of volunteers for set up, cashiers, and clean up. Additionally, Shannon Ross and Diana Aranda were instrumental as the co-chairs for the year. Thank you to everyone!
- $7,884.97 was brought in in total including cash, checks, credit and card. This was over a 3 hour period-amazing!
- We were able to purchase over $150 in books through the All for Books program. These books will be given to the school counselors to hand out as needed for students who may not have been able to purchase books at the fair.
- We purchased $315 worth of books using Scholastic Dollars to be added to the library collection. More will be purchased through the online account as well- yay!

Save the Date!
We are excited to meet our incoming Kindergarten class for the 2022/2023 school year!
Robinson Elementary is hosting a Kindergarten Open House and Scavenger Hunt on April 27th from 5-6PM. Our smallest friends will find and explore the Kindergarten classrooms, special areas, and cafeteria; meet the Kindergarten teachers and tour a school bus. If you haven't had the chance to register your kindergartener, you will have the opportunity to do that in-person at the event with two proofs of residency. To register your child for Kindergarten prior to the event, please register online at kirkwoodschools.org/Register.
We encourage families to only bring their special Kindergartener as a way to celebrate this milestone!
Robinson PTO Board Needs Volunteers for 22-23 School Year
All open board positions are "elect" positions which means you will work alongside the current board member for a year before transitioning into the role. We recognize many of us are stretched thin in life and couldn't imagine carving out any extra time. But this type of community service really is rewarding especially when you see the joy on our students' and teachers' faces.
If we have a strong, diverse team we can strike a balance with time commitment and will be more successful at building a Robinson community that is connected, engaging and enriched!
All are welcome! Please contact us as robinsonpto@kirkwoodschools.org if you would like to hear more or are interested in joining our Board.

Reporting Postive Covid Cases
Per our commitment to transparency throughout the pandemic, the KSD COVID Dashboard will continue to provide information about positive cases in the District. View the dashboard by visiting kirkwoodschools.org/coviddashboard
The primary role of the dashboard is to provide data specific to the potential for in-school transmission. One of the ways we can ensure the dashboard is as up-to-date as possible is quick and accurate reporting of any student that tests positive for COVID. Families can self report a positive case by using the form below:
Thank you for your assistance in ensuring our data is as current as possible.
Additionally, St. Louis County provides a map by zip code and school district to track community cases. It's available at: https://data.stlouisco.com/apps/covid-19-cases-by-zip-code-in-stl-county/explore
