Please keep a copy of the report for reference and send back the signed envelope to acknowledge that you received the Progress Report.
Students in grades 2-8 have their MAPs for Growth Family Report in their THT envelope. Please reach out to your student's homeroom teacher with any questions.

8th Grade Field Trip to Bishop Stang
Last Thursday, our 7th and 8th graders spent the morning at Bishop Stang High School, where they received an introduction to the academics and co-curricular life at the school. They met administrators and students, including an SJS alum, who spoke to them and gave them a tour. They also enjoyed a Science demonstration in Stang's state-of-the-art science lab, where three of our own recent graduates engaged their visitors with interesting experiments. Before leaving to come home, our students enjoyed a snack and received Bishop Stang t-shirts as a gift.
Dress-Down 10/31
A charity dress-down is scheduled for Monday, October 31. Students are asked to dress in their favorite fall color! No costumes will be allowed! Students that are expected to participate in physical education class must wear sneakers! Please don't hesitate to refer to the Student Handbook with questions, as the dress code guidelines will be strictly enforced! All students can choose to participate by paying $1.00 to their homeroom teacher. Participation is not mandatory, so students may choose to wear their school uniform and not join the dress-down day.

By tradition, the Catholic Church dedicates each month of the year to certain devotion. The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary, one of the best known of all Catholic devotions.
The best way to celebrate the month is, of course, to pray the Rosary.
