Message from the Principal's Office
We are at the end of third quarter and looking toward the end of the year!! Unbelievable how fast the year is going!
Congratulations to the students and staff at Adrian High school for being named best High Schools from US News and World Report Bronze 2015. Teachers and staff all work hard to give students their very best in order to achieve success.
Congratulations to our basketball teams: The girls were WEMO Conference Champs and District Champs. The boys finished 2nd in the WEMO conference but lost in the districts semi-finals. Great season to all our basketball teams!! The wrestling team had several members qualify for state and Tommy Weeks took 4th at 106 pounds. Congratulations! TSA competed in regionals last month in Joplin and brought home eight 1st place trophies. Art students competed in the annual WEMO art show hosted by Drexel and our students won 1st place Best of Show in HS 3-D (Maly Sears), and 2nd place Best of Show HS 2-D (Katelyn Krogsdale). The annual Adrian art show will be in April. The Music department made $855 at the Adrian Talent Show. Community members enjoyed the many talents of our Adrian students. Math Contest has been very successful with fifth through eighth grade competing at Sherwood and Midway. Jackson Bass, 7th grader, will be participating in state math competition on April 2nd in St. Louis.
Tardies and Attendance - We realize that coming to school can become difficult for your students but please help to support our efforts in maintaining an atmosphere where students attend school regularly and on time.
We want to wish each family an enjoyable spring break full of time with family, friends, and relaxation! Hopefully when we return students and staff will be revitalized for the end of the school year.
