Ball and Socket Joint
Handle
The handle is connected to the center structure, which is how it is able to move up and down as well as in a circular motion.
Rolling Chair
The wheels on the chair are connected to the center and the structure helps it move in a circular pattern. The wheel also fits directly into a niche at the bottom of the star.
Window Stick
The stick that controls the blinds on the window can move in a wide circular motion.
Hinge Joint
Door hinge
The door is connected to the hinge, which controls the forward and backward motion of the door itself, like a hinge joint.
Art Hinge
The boards of the art display are held together by hinges, which can make the different move closer and further away from each other.
Security Camera Head
The head of the security camera is connected to a structure that can move the camera and control its motion.
Pivot Joint
Doorknob
The knob of the door can be twisted in both directions like a pivot joint.
Trash Can Lid
The lid of the trash can is able to move in both an upward and downward direction.
Sink Handle
The knob of the sink can twist left and right, which is similar to how a pivot joint works.
Gliding Point
Soda Machine Conveyor
The soda conveyor moves from a limited left to right motion to catch the sodas, like a gliding joint.
Board Hanger
The board hanger moves left and right to hold things to the top of the board.
Drawer
The drawer opens and closes in a limited way that imitates how a gliding joint moves.
