Option 2: Fridays from 10:00am - 11:30am on Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov 13.
Option 3: Fridays from 12:45pm - 2:15pm on Sept. 25, Oct. 2, Oct. 30, Nov. 6 and Nov 13.

What is the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP)
The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) offers many workshops ideal for gaining new skills, which are applicable to any organization or personal enrichment. Topics may include: goal setting, time management, conflict resolution, brainstorming techniques, stress management and many more. The programs are designed to introduce current and emerging leaders to leadership development.
Information will be provided through group activities, guest speakers, discussions, and introspective assignments.

StrengthsQuest Assessment -- Friday October 30, 2015
What type of leader are you? What are your strengths? Gain insights into your leadership personality and explore how different types of leadership styles compliment each other. The StrengthQuest assessment will give you a common language to work from in study groups, research groups or student organizations. Learn how you can lead with your strengths.

Create your Involvement Portfolio -- Friday, November 13, 2015
Are you sure you are getting the most out of your involvement on campus? Being involved provides a great deal of opportunities for you as a leader. Take the steps to ensure you are applying the skills and knowledge with an Involvement portfolio. Then, join the discussion on next steps/actions plans for your leadership journey.
Possibilities include:
- Explore opportunities in a leadership course
- Become part of the core leaders program
- Join a student organization -- (these groups are student led)
- Engage in community service
- Become part of the student government
- Lead other students by assuming a peer mentor/leadership position
- Help staff coordinate university-sponsored events
- Join a university committee to represent the student voice

Program Overview
- The ELP is free and open to all undergraduate students at Ohio State Lima and Rhodes State.
- There are a total of five ELP workshops during the autumn semester. ELP participants are expected to attend all five workshops.
- A light meal (if offered over a breakfast. lunch or dinner hour) will be provided at the workshops.
- A certificate of participation will be provided at the final and fifth session.
