History of Pickleball
1967 - First pickleball court was created.
1972 - A corporation was formed to protect the creation of the sport.
1976 - First pickleball tournament was held in Washington.
1984 - First rule book was made. Also the first composite paddle was made.
1990 - Pickleball was played in all 50 states.
2001 - Introduced to the Senior Olympics.
2005 - Created a board of directors.
Rules
- Played with double or singles.
- Serve must be underhand. Contact must be under the waist.
- Both player serve until they fault. Then goes to the other side.
- Only can score on your serve.
- Serve from the right to (0,2,4,6,8)
- Serve form the left to (1,3,5,7,9,11)
- Ball has to bounce on both sides after the serve before you can volley.
- Cant spike in the no volley zone.
- If the ball bounces on the line it is considered in.
- You use a coin toss to determine who serves first.

Strategy for Pickleball
- Mix up your placement of the ball.

- In double have one person in front and one in back to receive and have a back up if needed.
