Homecoming Week 2022
This year homecoming is the week of September 19th-23rd. We will celebrate homecoming week culminating with a home football game and dance to follow.
Monday, September 19:
- Dress up day: Pajama Day
- Senior Sunrise: Before school on football field
- Coronation: 3:25-3:50 for all students to attend
Tuesday, September 20: ADVISORY SCHEDULE
- Dress up Day: Tropical
- School-wide Kahoot game: time TBD
- Float/activity planning: During Advisory time
- Home athletics: Volleyball and girls soccer
- Happy Birthday Mrs. Nemanich!
Wednesday, September 21:
- Dress up day: Pink Out
- School-wise music trivia
- Powder Puff football and Volleyball: 6:30pm, all grades (come cheer!!)
Thursday, September 22:
- Dress up day: Jerseys
- Home athletics: Girls tennis and boys soccer
Friday, September 23: NO CLASSES
- Dress up day: Winger Pride
- Happy Birthday Finny!

- Austin Williams has started his senior year by using some of his PSEO "free time" to coordinate Yearbook sales and preliminary materials prior to our crew gathering to conclude Last Year's edition and starting on this year's edition. -TBowes
- Tanner Miller: This friendly young man is well liked by the staff and students, and always ready to work around the school, and lend an helping hand to his friends. Tanner is a great example for all of us to follow! -Sheila Wallerick

Chromebook Protection Plan: September 30th DEADLINE!
Each year Red Wing Public Schools give families the opportunity to enroll in a Chromebook Protection Plan. Starting this year this plan will only be available for grades 5 -12 as they are the only students that will be allowed to take their Chromebooks out of the building. Please review the Chromebook Protection Plan below to help you decide if you would like to enroll in the protection plan.
The protection plan and fee are due by Friday, September 30th.

Community Flu Clinic: 10/24/22
Goodhue County Public Health and Homeland Health Specialists are bringing Influenza vaccination clinics to Red Wing soon!
Simply bring a copy of your Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, HealthPartners, Medica, PreferredOne, United Healthcare, or Medicare with supplemental insurance.
Those over 18 yrs of age, without insurance, can purchase a vaccination for $40, FluMist (if available) for $45 or Senior Dose (if available) for $70.
Homeland Health is a MN Vaccines for Children Provider and will offer flu vaccine to uninsured children 6 months to 18 years of age.

Visiting Author in Mrs. Kiefer's class
The author KX Song visited sophomore language arts classes yesterday. KX is visiting from the Anderson Center, where she is on residency.
Visiting Artist in Drawing and Painting class
Artist Ta-coumba Aiken is currently doing a residency with Red Wings Arts and joined students in Mrs. Bray's class for a discussion on his life and artworks. Ta-coumba's art is on display at Red Wing Arts (in the Depot) until October 9th.
