This is a Project Lead the Way Class that investigates how Science impacts the technology of yesterday, today, and the future. Students enjoy finding their engineering and creative self with hands-on experiences with tools, gadgets, nanotechnology products and making a Rube-Goldberg device. Students apply the concepts of physics, chemistry, and nanotechnology to STEM activities and projects, including making ice cream, cleaning up an oil spill, and discovering the properties of nanomaterials. Students will collaborate using inquiry, and participate in project based learning activities. Exploring the Science of Technology offers something for all types of Middle School interests!
