The Effie Center
The Effie Center is pleased to partner with CTHS to further develop the campus culture and support the Rangers of Chisholm Trail High School. The mission of the Effie Center is to support high school students and their families. www.effiecenter.org
Our aim is to work with students one day a week at what we will call the Effie Center, which will be located in the CTHS cafeteria. We will partner with various community partners who realize that often times the high school student is an under served student population. The Creeks Church will be our foundational partner for the CTHS Effie Center.
The CTHS Effie After Hours program, will take place on Tuesday afternoons from 4:20 – 6:00 p.m. Kids will come to the Effie and be subtly mentored and engaged with adults who will offer a positive supportive environment. Kids will be able to eat a snack, play ping pong, pool, board games, and just have a place to chill. Kids who might be interested in The Effie will be kids waiting on rides, kids waiting on a rehearsal, leaving tutorials or a club meeting or a host of other activities that finds kids at the school after hours on Tuesday afternoons.
Effie asks nothing of kids except for a mutual respect, that we know has to be earned from our end. Mentors will strive to develop this respect from your students. The Effie mentors are here to serve Chisholm Trail students.
The CTHS Effie Center opening day is slated for January 28th.
Let's Talk
LET'S TALK
Welcome to Let's Talk!
Let's Talk is a communications and customer service tool that Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD offers to provide a convenient way to contact the District with questions, comments, concerns, and compliments. The system is available 24/7, so you can submit your thoughts whenever they come to you!
We look forward to hearing your feedback and providing the best possible education for all students. Every Let’s Talk! submission is carefully reviewed and assigned to the appropriate school, department and/or staff member. If you would like a reply, please share your contact information, including your email address. A staff member will get back with you in 1-2 school days.
Let’s Talk! dialogues do not replace face-to-face meetings or telephone calls. If your message is urgent, please contact Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD’s Central Office at 817-232-0880 or your child’s school.
To use the Let's Talk! system to reach District staff, simply click on the department or topic below to begin.
All EMS ISD schools now have their own Let’s Talk! System. Visit their website to ask a campus-specific question.
