Week 2 Term 4 SFDS Newsletter
St Francis de Sales - 26 October 2021
Kia Ora Ano
Wasn’t it just amazing to have an extra day to spend with whānau and friends? Just great to be able to get into the garden and have that extra sleep in!
Tomorrow and Thursday we have school photos…please support your tamariki to be in the correct summer uniform, including the right school shoes, brushed hair…just looking spick and span! Your whānau will be emailed out a code so that you can check out how gorgeous your tamariki look in their photo before you purchase!
A reminder that this week all learners are required to have their school sunhats…if you need to purchase one, please order these via the school office – email@example.com
This short week is just crazy busy with athletics training, swimming, football skills and photos. Please keep an eye out on our school app for uniform information etc.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you on Friday night at our annual PSL Quiz fundraiser. Again, thank you so much for supporting this event by donating goods, buying a quiz table and purchasing raffle tickets…you are all incredibly generous and our learners are very grateful!
Have a lovely short week.

As usual, sausages will be $2 each with gluten free and vegetarian available. Please contact Fran or Suzanne in the office if you need help with ordering on Kindo.
A huge thank you to all those who have already returned their raffle butts and money to the school office - these are due by this Friday 29 October at 9am. If you are unable to sell your raffle tickets, then please return them to the school office ASAP so we can pass them onto someone else who is keen and willing to sell extra tickets.
A FANTASTIC ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUR BUSINESS (or family, or group of friends) Sponsor a table at the upcoming SFDS quiz night on Friday 29 October!
The cost of the sponsorship this year is $100-$150 for a table (small and large tables). You can decorate that table with whatever advertising paraphernalia you like or if you provide some business cards, logos, etc the PSL can set it up on a quiz table for you. This could be a business, or a family, or a group of friends who provide the sponsorship.
Your business name will be promoted on the night and your logo will appear on the promo
poster. So this is another great opportunity to get your name out in the community!
Note that the cost of tickets to participate in the quiz are additional ($20 per person). We haven't allocated the tables out to teams as yet, so if you prefer to actually sit at the table you are sponsoring, let me know and we'll see what we can do.
If your company is interested in sponsoring a table, then just get in contact with Pip ASAP this week at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get it underway.
There are still some individual tickets left on Kindo so if you (and any friends etc) would like to come along, then please purchase a ticket/s on Kindo and we'll add you to a table.
The following products are available though your school KINDO account
