ecology: abiotic and biotic factors that affect ecosytems
my learning experience with ecology
The learning activity we did was we talked and read about abiotic and biotic factors that affected ecosystems also we separated abiotic and biotic factors and made a list of factors that affect ecosystems also we talked about the salamanders and what factors would affect them. We learned by talking and reading about abiotic and biotic factors also we made a list of abiotic and biotic factors that affect ecosystems also we talked about what factors would affect the salamanders. The information we learned was what abiotic and biotic factors affect ecosystems also what factors could affect salamanders also we learned about the difference between abiotic and biotic factors. I got to learn about different types of factors that affect ecosystems also I got to know what factors affect salamanders. If I ever needed to talk or write about factors that affect ecosystems I can do it also If I needed to work on a project on abiotic and biotic factors.
chemistry: element project
My learning experience with chemistry
We had to pick one element to search about we had answer find the anwsers to the quetinons also find interesting information about the element we picked also we had to make it into a power point also we had to present the power point to the entire class. We learned by reading and searching up information about are element that we did we also learned by listening to other people talk and present about their element that they chose. We got alot of information on the element that we chose and also we learned about other elements that other people chose to write and to read about also to present about we got alot of information about elements. This learning was meaningful because I got to learn and read about the element that I wanted to know about also I got to know about other elements that other people wanted to know about and found out alot of intersting things about some elements. I could use the information I got from elements if I ever needed to write or talk about the elements in the future.
Electricity: methods of charging friction, contact, induction
My learning expeirience with electricty
We read and talked about the three methods of charging also we got work sheets on the methods of charging for friction we rubbed fur, silk, wool, and cotton on ebonite, plastic, and glass and put it over pieces of paper to see how many would stick to figure out what combination of cloth and rod will produce the most amount of static electricity through friction for contact we got an neutral electroscope and a negatively charged rod and touched the electroscopes metal ball to see that when the rod touches the ball the leaves move apart because the negative charges in the rod move to the leaves and since like charge move apart the leaves moved apart for induction we used a van de Graff generator when someone place their hand on it the are charged but then when the persons finger got close to someone the got shocked because the electrons moved through the air to the other person. We learned by reading and working on work also we got to use the van de Graff generator to learn about induction and used the electroscope to learn about contact also we rubbed rods on types of cloths to learn about friction. We learned about friction, contact, and induction also I could use this skill if I ever needed to write about or talk about the three methods of charge also if I needed to teach about the three methods of charge. This was meaningful to me because I got to learn about the three methods of charge in a fun and interesting way also I got to learn about something I never done before. If I ever needed to talk or write about the three methods of charge also if I ever needed to show someone about induction, friction, and contact.
Space: Astronomy smore project
my experience with astronomy
The learning activity that we did on it was we made a flyer on a space object that we chose we used smore to create the flyer we had to search up information on the computer to find out more about are space object we had to answer some questions about are space object the reason why we did it was to find out more about a object in space we got to work on are smores in the libary where we looked at books or on the computer to find out more about are space object. The object that I did was black holes it was interesting to me because it came from a colapsed star and also it is strong enogh that light can't escape it. We learned about a space object that we picked we had to learn how to use a smore and how to use it to create a flyer about a space object we went to the library to look up information in books or on the computer we had to find interesting videos on the space object we did we had to answer questions on the object we did for example we had to find where we observe it why it interest you when was it discovered what are some features on the object. The information we learned was how to create a smore flyer also some information on the space object we chose we also needed information to answer some questions such as what are some features of it who discovered it when was it discovered where we can see them why this interested you how we observe it. This is meaningful to me because I learned about smore which can be a easy way to create a flyer to use it for projects also I got to find out more interesting things about something that I was interested in it can help me when I am older and I need to use it to make flyers.I could use smore in the future to help me make flyers also If I needed to I could go back and look at the information I got from black holes if I ever needed to. I could use smore for school to help me make flyers on a subject if I ever needed to in the future.
