Rule Reminders
As we wind up another school year, we all get a little stir crazy. Let's remember to really keep a handle on our instructional time and our students to make the end as smooth as the beginning. You can help out in the following ways:
- Remember to teach from bell to bell. Please do not give students free times or free days.
- Please keep your kids in your classroom.
- Hats and hoods are not allowed to be worn inside the building. Enforce this with your students.
- Off campus food and drinks are not allowed in the building.
We have talked about how important consistency is. Let's really adhere to the rules and regulations we have put in place to give students the structure they need to be successful.
Dalton Award
Georgia Scholars! WE HAVE THREE!
Through the Georgia Scholar program, the Georgia Department of Education identifies and honors high school seniors who have achieved excellence in school and community life. Students eligible for Georgia Scholar recognition are high school seniors who exhibit excellence in all phases of school life, in community activities, and in the home.
Georgia Scholars are students who have carried exemplary course loads during their four years of high school; who performed excellently in all courses; who successfully participated in interscholastic events at their schools and in their communities; and who have assumed active roles in extracurricular activities sponsored by their schools. Each Georgia Scholar receives a seal for his or her diploma.
Of the 208 winners, we are proud to have three TCCHS Scholars: Hailey Ferrell, C'lee Kornegay, and Sierra Stephens! Thanks to all of you who have helped these students become the successful seniors that they are today!
