Seniors! We are thinking about you!
This is a different time for us all and we did not anticipate the school year ending like this! Our hearts are with you. You are definitely finishing this year strong!
We may not be at school... but learning doesn't stop!
Getting back to a routine may be a struggle. As you may hear from teachers soon ... creating a daily schedule to reflect each of your classes will help and bring back some type of normalcy.
Successful Tips on Schooling from home:
- Set up a "work station" - Find a place in your home where you will do your work.
- Make it Comfortable - Have comfortable seating.
- Use the Rule of Three - Make a to-do list and try and to get 3 things done everyday.
- Keep Notes - As an online student, you may be listening to your teachers do lessons, pull out a notebook and pencil and jot down notes!
- If you want, you can even switch out from your PJ's and get dressed!
- Set your phone aside (put it in a drawer, another room, or airplane mode) - Prevent any distractions
- Schedule some fun things to do! - Plan for things that you get excited to do for the day.
** Self Motivation is key! - When doing independent study, you need to have a lot of self discipline and when needed - take short breaks and stretch to help keep you going!

In grades 7-12 current grades will be based on all school work completed up to Quarter 3, which ended March 13 shortly before the schools were closed. All distance learning assignments completed up to the end of the school year will be able to increase a student's final grade and will not reduce it. Students have the opportunity to raise their grades AND learn the most essential information teachers can convey through distance learning. PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR TEACHERS.
