See something, say something
December 10
Remind students: see something, say something
Glenbard East Families,
Like so many across the country, we are saddened by the recent tragic events at a school in Michigan and another in Tennessee, and we are committed to maintaining a safe learning environment. Please reinforce the message of “see something, say something” with your son or daughter.
As evidenced by yesterday’s communication, students often hear about a threat or act of violence before it happens. It’s critical that they tell a trusted adult, which could be a teacher, counselor, dean or administrator. Also, the Glenbard East School Violence and Bullying Tip Line is for students and others to anonymously report threats of school violence and/or bullying behavior. Please call 630-424-6670 to make a report. If individuals have any information that can help maintain a safe and positive climate for all students at Glenbard East, they are encouraged to do their part and submit a tip. Students who wish to report a potential act of school violence at Glenbard East may also leave an anonymous message with our police liaison officer at 630-424-6690.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Antoine Anderson
