What is Global warming?
Global warming is when some places that have warmer climate are now getting colder and some places that have a cold er climate are now getting warmer. This is a problem for some animals that need to always be in heat or always be cold. Global climate change is reforming the continents.

The planet is warming up fast, faster than any time in history. This is very bad because the glaciers are melting and the sea levels are rising . This is changing the shape of the continents by reducing land space due to the oceans rising. Since the glaciers are melting this is also very bad for the polar bears. Their habits are shrinking.
What is causing global warming and global climate change?
Global warming is caused mostly by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Global warming is causing climate patterns to change. The increase of gases in the earth is from too much pollution from cars, smoke stacks and factories.
What are consequences to global climate change?
Global climate change will affect people, animals, and ecosystems in many ways. Less rain can mean less water for some places, while too much rain can cause terrible flooding. More hot days can dry up crops and make people and animals sick. In some places, people will struggle to cope with a changing environment.
What are some specific actions that a middle school student can take to help reduce their carbon emissions?
A middle school student could tell his for her parents to purchase green electricity or solar panels. You could car pool to get to school to prevent further pollution. another way to reduce carbon emission could also recycle and reuse.
