Grandparents and Special Friends Day Volunteers Needed!

Dear Parents,

Anyone able to lend a hand and volunteer on Friday, February 12, should please email our Grandparents Day Chairs, Nicole Dixon at, and Tina Yates at for specific volunteer information.

Thank you very much!

Jubilee Year Of Mercy - Pope Francis' Call To The Faithful

In religion, our students reflect on ways to try and keep the Year of Mercy that Pope Francis has asked us to embrace. As a team, we will help our students understand their own need for mercy and how to explore their capacity to show mercy to others. They are just the right age to learn from their teachers, parents and other trusted adults on how to treat others with respect and understanding.

This week's gospel for the 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, highlights Jesus' life as a prophet (Luke 1. 1-4; 4. 14-21). Luke shows Jesus as the one God promised, but also as the one His own people reject. In religion class this week, we will read the Apostle's Creed and reflect on what we believe.

Native American Projects Due February 4, 2016

We can't wait to see everyone's creative and interesting projects! If there are still any last minute questions related to the Native American project please feel free to email Mrs. Garcia at
