Parent/Teacher Conference Week!
Alta Mesa Families,
It is conference week ladies and gentlemen!! This is an incredibly important week in every school year. This is the check-in our teachers have with all parents to let them know exactly how their children are doing in school. Teachers have been working tirelessly to prepare for conferences. If you haven't done so, please make sure to connect with your child's teacher for conferences.
This week we will have minimum days all week so teachers can fit in their conferences. Please make sure to mark 1:20 on your calendars each day this week for dismissal. We were able to reschedule our T-1 Awards assembly for Thursday morning. Our TK-2nd assembly will be from 8:40-9:15 and our 3rd-5th will be from 9:25-10:00. Invites for students receiving an award were sent out from teachers.
Finally remember we are off for Thanksgiving Break from November 21-25, 2022.

Alta Mesa Book Fair Is Back, Nov 14-18th!
The book fair will be open to families Nov 14-18th from 1:00-3:30 Monday through Thursday and 1:00-3:00 on Friday. Please stop by before or after your parent/teacher conference and check it out! Students will also be allowed to visit and make purchases at the book fair during their normal library time. Please check in with your student's teacher for their library time.
We are also looking for parent volunteers! Please email our Librarian, Mrs. Corona if you are able to help: tcorona@eesd.net

Ninja Coalition (3rd-5th Grade) Alta Mesa will be hosting the Ninja Coalition the week after Thanksgiving Break. This is for 3rd-5th graders. Students will be receiving permission slips from their teacher this week. Students must have signed permission slips in order to participate, they must also have closed-toed shoes. | Cookie Dough Fundraiser The Booster Club fundraiser began on October 28th and will run until Tuesday, Nov 15th. This is a great fundraiser and a perfect gift for Christmas! Please help support our school! All sales can be done online and shipped directly to the buyers home. | Stuff The Bus Toy Drive Salvation Army is hosting Stuff The Bus Toy Drive and Alta Mesa is proud to participate. If you are able to donate, please bring unwrapped toys to the office and place them in the Stuff The Bus Toy Drive bin before December 2nd. |
