Final Fall Wrap Up

December 2, 2022

We had a number of individuals and one team qualify for State Tournaments prior to Thanksgiving. Here is a final wrap up to the fall season.

Cross Country

Evan L and Jerry L ran in the State XC meet ( in Syracuse) after qualifying finishes in Sectionals. Evan became the first Thomas XC runner to place in the top ten in the state by finishing 9th. Jerry finished in 26th place in the state.

Swimming

Girls Swim - Melissa R, Nakisha D, Vivian N and Marin B all competed in the State Swim Meet held at the WAC this year.

Volleyball

The Lakers advanced to the State Tournament in Albany. The team advanced to the state finals finishing second in pool play. They lost in the final 3-1 to State Champion Shenendahoa.28-30,25-20,12-25 and 22-25.

Congratulations to all of our fall teams and athletes! We are looking forward to a fun, safe and competitive winter season!

From the Athletic Department...


Bowling

The Titans took on Fairport at Fairview Lanes Monday in their opening match of the season. The Boys lost a close match 3205-3002. Cayden G bowled a 181,235,181 for a 597 series. Evan G bowled a 265, 188, 224 for a 677 series. Alex H bowled 235,243, 170 for a 648 series. High bowlers for the girls included Emily S with a 136, 141, 182 for a 459 series and Alyssa D with a 188, 164, 166 for a 518 series.


Boys Basketball

The Boys host Gates Chili in their opening game of the season Friday night at 7:15pm


Girls Basketball

The girls opening game vs Canandaigua Friday evening was postponed due to a water main break at Canandaigua.


Wrestling

The Wrestlers will participate in the Pal Mac Tournament Saturday


Hockey

The Titans lost their home opener Saturday evening 4-2 to McQuaid. Scoring for the Titans was Michael S. Jackson G turned away close to 50 shots on goal.


The Titans were the visitors when they faced Webster Schroeder Tuesday evening. They lost a close one 1-0. Jackson G had another outstanding performance in goal. Next up the Titans is a trip to Amherst to play Hamburg from Section 6. They return home to the Webster Ice Arena Saturday at 6pm to play West Seneca.
