Dear Plum Grove Parents and Guardians,

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Monday, November 21 from 11am to 7pm and Tuesday, November 22 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We have times still available. If you are interested in a parent conferenece please call our office at 847-963-7600. Please verify your childs name, grade level and 1st period teacher.

Thank you to our PTSA for making The Halloween Dance a Spooky Success! Both students and staff had a great time!

A note from Plum Grove's Student Council:

Check your pantries! Add an extra item or two to your grocery cart! Plum Grove will be having a food drive this week! All items collected will be donated to the Palatine Township Food Pantry (just in time for Thanksgiving week!). Boxes will be set up by the front office, MPR, library, and lower level. for students to drop their donations right when they get to school. Donations will be collected Monday-Friday (11/14-11/18). As a way to get students excited about this, the student council has made it a competition between 7th and 8th grade. The grade with the most items donated will have the chance to win an awesome prize! The student council has also set a goal to collect 500 items throughout the week.

Here is a list of the most needed items:

• Pasta
• Pasta sauce
• Canned vegetables (eas, corn, carrots)
• Canned soup
• Cake mixes
• Brownie mix
• Coconut mix
• Evaporate condensed milk
• Chocolate chips for baking
• Chips, crackers, popcorn (individual bags for lunches)
• Juice boxes (for lunches)
• Hamburger Helper
• Stuffing mix
• Instant potatoes
• Condiments
• Salad dressing
• Wet & dry dog food
• Dry cat food
• Baby wipes
• Diapers (size 5, 6, 7)

Intramurals

Monday, November 14 is the last day of badminton..

Starting Monday, November 28 the Fitness Center will be open on Monday mornings- 6:30- 7:30 am.

Intramural Volleyball

Mr. O'Kelly and Mr. Vassos will be running Intramural Volleyball after-school in the gym on the following dates:

Nov. 29 Dec. 1

Dec. 6 Dec. 8

Dec. 14 Dec. 15

and

Dec. 19 Dec. 20

The days will vary due to the availability of the gym.

Tryouts for girls volleyball will be the 1st week after winter break. Jan. 9 and 10th 8th grade

and Jan. 11 and 12th 7th grade

Picture Retakes Wednesday, November 16th.

No school the week of November 21st. Classes resume Monday, November 28th.
