Go Beyond the Worksheet- Create a HyperDoc!
Many of you have been using Google Apps with your students for awhile now. Have you learned about HyperDocs? HyperDocs are used as a digital lesson design tool that helps guide students throughout the lesson. It serves as a great way to organize content, promote collaboration, and provide students interactive activities way beyond the traditional worksheet. As an added bonus it can provide a structure conducive to student-directed learning. It's much more than just links on a Google Doc. Learn more here. (What's the Hype with Hyperdocs?)
You can get started on your own HyperDoc by doing the following.
- Decide on the unit of study and/or specific skill you want your students to learn.
- Select a tool that will help guide your students through the learning. (Google Doc, Drawings, Slides)
- Add links to your Hyperdoc using a variety of different tools such as videos, Google Forms, Google Classroom, etc
- Share the Hyperdoc via Classroom, email, or through your website.
