Dublin Road Construction Update

We have received several emails in regards to the potential impact of the Dublin Road construction project and the accessibility to the sidewalk and tunnel for those families that live on the east side of Dublin Road.

We were contacted by DCS transportation department this morning and they shared that the Dublin Road to Brandonway Drive tunnel will be open by the end of the weekend. This also means that the walking path that leads to the tunnel will also be accessible by the end of the weekend.

Additionally, the transportation department also shared that part of the walking path that leads down to the tunnel will likely not be paved immediately and will instead be a crushed gravel surface. *Students who ride bikes will need to be careful riding down the hill that leads into the tunnel on their way to school.

Finally, the transportation department shared that while route times may vary based on different phases of construction, they expect bus routes to run on time for the most part. We will continue to communicate updates as we receive them.
