This month marks one year. One year that has collectively yet uniquely impacted each of us.
The COVID19 pandemic has gripped our attention and greatly affected our lives in ways none of us could have imagined. It has changed how we work, function and interact with each other. This moment in time is one we share with everyone yet it is also very personal. It is easy to wrestle with the feelings of fear and anxious thoughts about what the future may hold.
This is when it is important for each of us to draw closer to God and seek His wisdom and strength– to look for comfort in His word and seek His wisdom and guidance. It is human nature to be fearful when confronted with the unknown– God knows this, in the bible he tells us ‘Fear not’ 365 times followed by a redirection of trusting God. That is one ‘ Fear not’ for everyday of the year!
One of my favorite ‘fear not’ passages is; ‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go’ Joshua -1:9.
So, as our world continually changes and we envision our place within it, take comfort and be strong– ‘FEAR NOT!’ God is with us.
ONE WAY Traffic Pattern in our Parking Lot
Parents just a reminder– for the safety of our students and families, it is important that all traffic follow the designated one-way pattern in our parking lot. Here is Mr Bob's refresher video from the beginning of the year.

Important reminders:
Spring break will soon be upon us. As we prepare to enjoy this time with our families and friends, everyone needs to remember our school's quarantine policy still applies for students and families who will be traveling. Please be as careful as you can about those you choose to associate with and also the places to which you travel.
Just a reminder: This is #5 on the information sheet each parent signs off on every day during student drop-off.
#5. I, nor anyone in my household, has traveled outside the state of Texas, or traveled an airplane or a cruise ship or traveled to another country in the past 21 days.
CHAPEL CHAT Ms Chris
Happy March everyone! The children did such a good job listening and singing about two strong and courageous men in the Bible, David and Daniel. We learned that God will listen to our prayers when we are afraid or lonely . He helps us to be strong and courageous in all things!
In March we will focus on Bible stories that show us how God can guide us if we get lost or need to be reminded of doing things that are right. Our Memory verse is “God will guide you” Psalm 25:7 Ask your children to sing their Bible song to you and what they learn in Chapel in song and prayer! Your children are amazing!!

MUSICAL MOMENTS Ms Deborah
Spring is in the air for music at Butterfly School. The toddlers and 2s will be singing songs to get them moving, taping, dancing, and singing about animals, our bodies like head, shoulders, knees, and toes, and then lead into Easter with traditional songs we would sing in Bible class. The 3s will also be looking at letters W for Woodwinds where I’ll play a clarinet for them and show them a flute, B for Brass where they will see and hear a trumpet and trombone, and P for percussion where they will have a parade of different percussion instruments. The Pre-K class will begin learning the name of music notes and where they are on the staff in preparation for learning to play songs on chime bells the following month. The children are more and more comfortable to use their voices and make beautiful music together. What a blessing they all are!

Spring is near and we’re excited to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday along with Eric Carle and their beloved picture books. In March we will focus on these two authors and create artwork that reflect their storybooks.

Pony Tail Club
Pink Heart Funds is a way to help children with hair loss during chemotherapy. Children are able to receive a wig, free of charge, if their family does not have the means to purchase one.
