Important Back to School Message
from Dr. Curtis Cain and Wentzville Police Chief Kurt Frisz
Good Evening,
As we begin a new school year, Wentzville Police Chief Kurt Frisz and Superintendent Dr. Curtis Cain wanted to share a few reminders for students and parents around the importance of alerting someone when you see anything that could be deemed a threat to oneself or to others on social media. We want everyone to be assured that the Wentzville School District has the safety and welfare of our students and staff in mind at all times and we want to be proactive in educating our students about the responsible use of social media. We also want to avoid the distraction and undue anxiety that result from rumors that can spread quickly on social media. As the new school year gets underway, we will continue to work together with law enforcement to ensure that our schools are safe zones where adults can work and students can learn. But we cannot do it alone - we need everyone's assistance and vigilance with this. The more we work together, the stronger and safer we are as a community.
