A Special Message from Mrs. Jimenez
Dear PRE Families,
It is with a very sad and broken heart that I share with you all my plans to leave PRE at the end of this 2019-2020 school year. My husband and I were presented with an opportunity to move back to our hometown of Hugoton, Ks and continue pursuing our careers while being closer to family. While we are happy and excited with our decision, it makes it extremely difficult knowing all we are leaving behind. These past few weeks have been very emotional and tough for me as I can’t imagine life without PRE. The students, staff, and community are truly what make this school so insanely special! It has been my absolute privilege to be able to work here, watch your students grow over the past four years, and get to know each special family. I have made forever friendships and built lasting relationships with this entire community that I will cherish forever. Thank you for taking a chance on this aspiring music teacher, trusting me to take care of and grow with your special students, and supporting me through it all. I am thankful to have a few months left to love on and treasure each musical moment with your sweet students. Winnie the Pooh said it best, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”. PRE is all that and more to me and will always hold the most special place in my heart.
All my love,
Katie Jimenez

Girls' Dance Rescheduled
Due to the outbreak of influenza and other illnesses at PRE, we have decided it is in our best interest to postpone the PTO PRE Girls’ Dance that is scheduled for Saturday night. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this may have on your schedule. We are doing our best to keep our students safe and healthy. The dance will now take place on Friday, April 3 from 6:30-8:30 P.M. This will give students time over spring break to get healthy. If you have paid to attend the dance and can no longer attend on the rescheduled date, please email prefamilies@gmail.com for a refund. If you have not registered and would like to attend on April 3rd PTO will be accepting registrations through March 27th.
Parent Survey
We strive to make PRE a safe place for students to learn, and we appreciate the partnership with parents. In order to provide excellence and improve upon our practice, we rely on parent feedback. Therefore, below is a link to a short PRE Parent Survey. It is grade specific, so please select the survey for the appropriate grade level(s). The survey will close on March 3rd. We appreciate your feedback.
