Simple Cards - Training Tool-Free for a limited time
"The kids all loved this app. With school just starting and being able to incorporate their weekly Vocabulary Word List (this was a big plus to parents!) it really makes the kids feel like they are reaching some reading goals. It is very easy to use, and the different levels allowed the kids to start where they were most comfortable and work their way up. The bright background colors and the large print size made it so visually appealing to all the kids. Keep up the great work!"
HOW TO PLAY:
Begin the game by selecting a set of words (or adding your own). Show the child the word on the screen. If they get it correct tap it to mark it complete. If they struggle or don't know, swipe it down to try again later. The word set is complete when all the words are marked as correct

This is the first in a series on the New Google Classroom
This is the first in a series on the New Google Classroom from The Techy Coach, Shawn Beard. In order to update his school districts online class to reflect the new changes to Google Classroom, he has re-recorded a series of videos for first-time and veteran users of Google Classroom. Check out this first offering – Creating a Course and Adding Students!
The other thing that struck me was how the videos are easy to follow and informative. I am also extremely impressed with the idea that The Techy Coach does online PD with his teachers. In other words, just in time learning! Frequently, I hear teachers say I don't have time, just show me!!. Well, Shawn has done just that, he shows, it is like he is sitting right beside you walking you through the steps. And the best part is you can watch the video over and over until it sinks into your brain. I love it. l would like to encourage you to check out his site, it is a great resource for all tools GOOGLE.
He currently works as Director of Technology at Sand Springs Schools. In addition to those duties, he is also a presenter for EdTechTeam and is the Leader of GEG Oklahoma.
Special thanks to Shawn Beard for sharing your PD videos with all of us.
